Ubuntu Hardy Heron -- The Best So Far

I'm finally getting around to putting Ubuntu Hardy Heron on my new T61 laptop. The experience so far has been superb.

The only issue I've got is that enable/disable for my WAN card doesn't work under all circumstances. (For reference, I have the Sierra card, vendor=0x1199 product=0x6813.) If I use Windows to enable the card before booting into Linux, then the card comes up and down like clockwork; if I use Windows to disable the card before I boot into Linux, though, it won't come up. When the card is up, though, it connects quite happily.

I'm pretty sure the card wierdness is an ACPI issue. Besides, enable/disable is an experimental feature in thinkpad-acpi anyway, so I shouldn't expect it to work anyway. I've got a lead on the problem and have a couple of ideas on how to fix it.

I've got some serious MSTC assignments coming up (marketing plan... ::gulp::), so short post tonight.
